The Regional Public Organization «The Academy of Russian Symbolics MARS» is a public organization created by group of the adherents in 1997, which basic purposes are:

• revival and popularization of Russian heraldry and symbolics;
• help to various organizations and departments in development of the symbolics and sign system;
• formation of a databank of heraldry, symbolics and emblematic.

RPO «The Academy of Russian Symbolics MARS» together with the base industrial enterprise OOO «Orel (Eagle) and Ko» also is engaged in development and manufacture of various kinds of heraldry and symbolics: breastplates, departmental awards, medals, representation plaquettes etc. The development of marks, arms, emblems and symbols is carried out on traditional Russian and international heraldic and faleristic canons, using a wide experience. The adjusted manufacture allows to reproduce marks and medals with use of heavy metals (copper, brass, tombac, German silver), overlaying its with cold and hot enamels, and making appropriate anodizing of metals under golden and silvery colour. The active development of technologies in manufacture of breastplates known in Russia during last century is conducted. The large place in the work of Academy is occupied the development of the various arms (personal, corporate), emblems and trade marks.

RPO «The Academy of Russian Symbolics MARS» cooperates in questions of symbolical maintenance with many ministries, departments and organizations of Russian Federation. We developed and manufactured the medals and marks for Federal Agency of Governmental Communication and Information at the President of Russian Federation, Federal Frontier Guards Service of Russian Federation, Federal Service of Railway Armies of Russian Federation, Federal Service of Special Construction of Russian Federation, Ministry of Atomic Energy of Russian Federation, Communication by State Messenger Service at Government of Russian Federation, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation, some structural divisions and high military educational institutions of the Ministry of the Defense of Russian Federation etc.

Especially it would be desirable to note development and manufacture of an Official mark (circuit) of the Mayor of Moscow and reward marks «The Honourable Citizen of City of Moscow», executed by our experts, and also «The Honourable Citizen of the Moscow Area (Oblast)», «For Merits to the Moscow Area», «Best on Trades of the Moscow Area», «The Deserved Builder of the Moscow Area».

We develop new perspective directions: creation of the corporate arms and heraldic emblems for various organizations and enterprises, creation of the personal arms for the persons of a not nobiliary origin, help to the subjects of Russian Federation in development of regional symbolics etc.

The experts of Academy are the members of the heraldic structures of various departments: Communication by State Messenger Service at Government of Russian Federation, Federal Service of Railway Armies of Russian Federation, Main Department on Struggle with the Organized Criminality of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation, Russian Navy, Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation.

For active work in the field of development of departmental symbolics collective of RPO «The Academy of Russian Symbolics MARS» was awarded with many diplomas and letters, and the desktop medal, executed by us, devoted to anniversary of Military Academy of the General Military Staff of Russian Federation is accepted on a constant storage in numismatic collection of State Hermitage in St.-Petersburg.
